In remembrance
Wisbech Town Council has a tradition in it's final meeting of the year.
During that meeting a list of all the notable people around the world who have died is read out. Then, a list of local people who have passed away is read out (if their friends and family have asked the Town Council to do so.)

PRESS RELEASE - Wisbech in Bloom
At their meeting on 19 November 2018 the members of Wisbech Town Council decided, unanimously, that the council would double the level of grant funding that it provides annually to the Wisbech in Bloom team.

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY - 11 NOVEMBER 2018
Wisbech Remembrance Parade will take place on Sunday 11th November 2018.
The Parade will muster at 1020 in the Market Place, Wisbech. Leaders are requested to report to the Parade Marshall.
The Civic Party will leave the Council Chamber at 1040.
The Parade will form up at 1040 on the north side of the Market Place.
