Mayor of Wisbech hosts afternoon tea
Mayor of Wisbech, Councillor Aigars Balsevics, hosted his first official fundraising event, an Afternoon Tea at Wisbech Castle on Sunday 13 September.

Cookery at the Market Place
Saturday 19 September 11am at the Market Place, Wisbech
Come and join top local chef, Alison Sloan who is joined by culinary artist, Mayor of Wisbech, Cllr Aigars Balsevics, for a show-stopping live cooking demonstration. Tickets are free, but must be registered to assist in social distancing for seating.

Cllr Hill's head and beard shave!
When Councillor Michael Hill was the Mayor of Wisbech, one of his departure fundraiser campaigns was the sponsorship of a complete head and beard shave... Then Covid-19 struck and his term in office ended. Today, with the new Mayor, Councillor Aigars Balsevics in attendance to support him, Councillor Hill finally got the event completed.

Wisbech Town Council supports LK Tennis Academy for its Fun Tennis in the Park sessions.
Lisa Kennedy, founder and fully qualified tennis coach has organized a series of tennis lessons to be held in Wisbech Park tennis courts, commencing Thursday 16 July for five weeks. Three age groups will be accommodated at three different times during the morning, 6-8 years at 9.30am, 9-11 years at 10.30am and 12-15 years at 11.30am.

Wisbech Town Council has partnered with Fenland Citizen to recognise the many neighbours, businesses and volunteers who have assisted those less able during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rock Festival Cancelled
Wisbech Rock Festival, one of the major highlights of Wisbech Town Council's events calendar, has been cancelled due to coronavirus.
