Elections for the European Parliament are taking place on Thursday 23 May 2019. There are nine electoral regions in England and the District falls in the Eastern Region, which is represented by 7 members.

Wisbech Unsung Heroes 2019 - update

"Given the low number of nominations received to date for this year's Wisbech Unsung Heroes Awards – in some categories there have been none (and the closing date is 22 March 2019) – the council has decided that the ceremony (scheduled currently for 12 April 2019) be postponed until the summer of this year.

It's time to get nominating your Wisbech Unsung Heroes for this year's awards.

Wisbech Town Council is running the Wisbech Unsung Heroes Awards with support from the Fenland Citizen and the aim is to recognise those townspeople who go the extra mile for their community.

  • Notice of Election will be published (by the Returning Officer at Fenland District Council) on 19 March
