Here are a variety of different funding opportunities that may be of interest to you. Please see below information about Cambridgeshire County Council's Innovate and Cultivate Fund and the Police and Crime Commissioner's Youth and Community Fund. Please also see attached information about a variety of other grants such as National Lottery Community Fund. Apologies for any funds listed which you/your organisation are not eligible for. Apologies for any typos or ambiguity in the attached document, it is being shared as it was received. If you have any questions it is best to direct them to the grant giver as detailed in the document.
Innovate and Cultivate Fund
Cambridgeshire County Council is pleased to announce that the next deadline for Innovate & Cultivate Fund applications is 1st May 2020. A pre-application advice session will be held on 18th March at The Bargroves Centre, St. Neots (details below).
The aim of the fund is to support initiatives that strengthen communities and reduce pressure on County Council services, thereby giving a return on investment. Council services that are inviting applications include adult social care and children & families services.
There are two funding streams: a 'Cultivate' fund for smaller projects that build community support networks and an 'Innovate' fund for bigger, bolder and more innovative initiatives.
Upcoming application deadlines
1st May 2020 – Cultivate grants only (£2,000 - £19,000)
1st August 2020 - Cultivate grants (£2,000 - £19,000) and Innovate grants (£19,001 - £50,000)
Cultivate 'Seed' Fund Projects
Guidance has been developed on starting Cultivate Seed Fund Projects that can help people to remain independent and active within their community, encourage volunteering and complement more costly Council services. Projects include Timebanks, Good Neighbour Schemes, Dementia-Friendly Communities and Men's Sheds. Details may be found here.
Pre-application advice session
Want to talk through your ideas before you submit your application? Bookings are now open for an Innovate & Cultivate Fund Advice Session on 18th March, 9:30am-12:30pm at The Bargroves Centre, St. Neots. The Alzheimer's Society will also be running a workshop for anyone interested in setting up or enhancing a dementia friendly community. Please book here.
The fund is open to voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations based in and outside of Cambridgeshire, and public sector organisations in Cambridgeshire. Please note that projects serving Peterborough residents are not eligible.
Applications and further information about fund priorities and criteria may be found on the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation (CCF) website. CCF can answer questions about applying for the fund firstname.lastname@example.org
